The Waverly Street Gallery is proud to present Metalwork 2008. It is the 14th Biennial Show by the artist members of the Washington Guild of Goldsmiths. Forty five artists will show over 100 of their newest creations of jewelry, sculpture, flatware, hollow ware and whimsical objects. This event showcases the diverse talents of the members whose ideas are expressed in a variety of metals, enamels, techniques and styles.

This year, our outstanding jurors, John Fix and James Meyer, were impressed by the quality of the WGG submissions. Five artists were selected as award winners. Metalwork 2008 promises to be a marvelous and exciting presentation of work demonstrating a vast array of techniques and materials combined into visual symphonies of art.

The Washington Guild of Goldsmiths encourages continuing education for its members through workshops and inspires the next generation to continue developing their skills and ideas.
