Duncan Whitaker will exhibit color and black and white floral images at the Brookside Gardens’ Visitor Center, Atrium Gallery, 1800 Glenallan Avenue, Wheaton, Maryland. The exhibit, entitled Nature’s Designs, will run from February 16, 2008 to April 27, 2008 and will be open to the public daily, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Ruth Bird is curating a show of rug hookers at the Sandy Spring Museum that will be on view May-June.

Jean Hirons’ painting Cloudy Day Landscape received the Outstanding Landscape Award at the Fourth Annual Northeast National Pastel Exhibition in Old Forge, New York.

The National Agricultural Library and sculptor John Jayson Sonnier have teamed to mount an exhibition featuring stone botanical sculptures paired with companion prints from the National Agricultural Library’s Rare Book Collection.
